Rust Server Website (RSW) Template

Overview

A static website template for Rust server communities. Owners describe their servers, wipe schedules, rules and Discord in a few JSON files, and the build turns them into a fast, accessible site that runs on any static host, including ordinary shared hosting over FTP. Wipe schedules follow Facepunch's monthly force wipe and handle time zones and daylight saving, with a calendar of every server's upcoming wipes. On hosts with PHP, a single file reads player counts, descriptions and banners straight from the game servers; elsewhere an optional bridge publishes the same data. The default design follows one evening down the page: a night sky over the hero, a dusk horizon of Rust's monuments behind the servers, and a campfire at the foot. The demo shows the latest release with fictional servers.
